In the NOT SO BREAKING NEWS department, Dwight Howard has reportedly been sent to the L.A. Lakers in a 4 team deal that will send Howard, Earl Clark and Chris Duhon to the Lakers, wtih the Nuggets getting Andre Iguodala, the 76ers receiving Jason Richardson and Andrew Bynum, and the Magic receiving Nikola Vucivie, Arron Afflalo and a protected future first-round pick from each team.  Dwight is still rumored to not be willing to sign an extension in order to test the free agent market next year.  This makes the Lakers the automatic favourite to win the championship over the Heat.  Mitch Kupchak is the man, that's really what all this means.  For a guy who doesn't want to be in Shaq's shadow his entire career it's sure panning out that way.  Games at the Amway in Orlando will never be the same, it will be hard for me to cheer on Dwight as a Laker but he is the best center in the world currently.  Peep sick highlights of Dwight throwing down on everybody:

Dwight Howard To Sign Extension If Traded to Lakers????

The last couple of months have been all about where Dwight Howard will end up after he repeated his desire to be traded from the Magic.  Although the Brooklyn Nets had been his preferred destination, that potential went downhill after the Nets re-signed Brook Lopez.  Now with the latest report from ESPN.com of a 3 team deal could help the Lakers land Howard.  And reports via REAL GM say that Howard is "excited" about the potential trade to L.A. and is willing to sign an extension with the Lakers!  I hope he gets traded to the Bobcats! LOL!!!  If he did say that he wants to sign the extension it's probably cuz he doesn't want Kobe doing this to him ever again:
