Roger Goodell Banned From Miami Restaurant Owned By Jonahtan Vilma

Roger Goodell, the NFL's commissioner who came down hard on the Saints in lieu of 'Bounty Gate' cannot escape the growing trend of players trashing him.  According to a report, signs outside of Brother Jimmy's BBQ in Miami has been posted with Goodell's face on it and reads "DO NOT SERVE THIS MAN". The restaurant is owned by several NFL players, D.J. Williams of the Broncos, John Beason of the Panthers and Jonathan Vilma of the Saints, all of whom are former University of Miami football players.  Vilma has been suspended by Goodell for the entire upcoming NFL season for his role in 'Bounty Gate'.  Vilma's doing all he can to get at Goodell, don't blame him one bit.

Video: Dez Bryant Makes Sick One Handed Catch

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is a hell of a talent.  He also has a hell of a lot of issues off the field.  But once he's locked in, he could become one of the top 5 receivers in the league.  Here's Dez making a sick one handed catch against the San Diego Chargers in a preseason match.  His heel barely touched the the end line and he was ruled out of bounds.  Still a great catch...much rather see him making headlines for the right reasons this time.  Giants fan all day but I hope Dez keeps his mind right this year.

Antonio Brown signed a nice $42.5 million dollar 5-year contract with the Steelers in the offseason, if he keeps making plays like this in the regular season, they may not need Mike Wallace to end his holdout after all.  I hope that is not the regular season form for the Colts D however.

Video: Miami Dolphins Coach Telling Chad Johnson He's Been Cut From The Team On HBO Hard Knocks

Damn! I f*cked up huh!??

Well it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson is having the worst week ever.  First he allegedly headbutted his wife Evelyn Lozada after she saw a receipt for condoms in his car, he was then arrested, 2 days later got cut by the Miami Dolphins, then his wife filed for divorce from him, then to top it off HBO's Hard Knocks which features the Miami Dolphins this year, aired the footage of Chad getting cut from the team.  He's a Miami boy so I know to have it all seemingly end this way got to be the worst.  I personally like Chad, but this is what happens when you put too much of yourself out there, you have to deal with the consequences.  I hope he gets another shot in the NFL.  Check the video of Dolphins' coach Joe Philbin informing Chad of his release.

Tennessee Titans Wide Receiver O.J. Murdock Found Dead

Very sad news coming out of Tampa today as O.J. Murdock, a reserve wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans has been found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.  The report via Yardbarker states Murdock's body was found in front of his old high school in Tampa, Florida where he ran track and played football until he graduate in 2006.  Murdock hadn't reported to camp yet this year for what was listed as personal reasons.  He had missed all of last year due to personal reasons.  Very disheartening news heading into the NFL season.

Reggie Bush Spotted In Paris With His New Chick

Reggie Bush, much like the Gronk, is one of my heroes!  Reggie never disappoints with the ladies.  Here's Reggie with his latest girl in Paris leaving the Cartier store at the Place Vendome, getting some shopping done before NFL training camp starts.  Reggie's choices are always good choices.  Let's hope he makes good decisions on the field this year much like he did  last year.

Rob Gronkowski Is Loved....by Jeremy Roenick????

I knew I wasn't the only guy who thinks Rob Gronkowski is a GOD...apparently retired NHL great and current NBC Sports Analyst Jeremy Roenick thinks so too.  In this story from Yahoo! Sports Roenick was quoted as saying "I'm a Patriots fan," Roenick told me. "I grew up in Boston. I'm a big Patriots fan, a big Wes Welker fan, a big Tom Brady fan, So, being from that area, the Gronk is the next best thing to Jesus Christ, in my opinion. (Laughs) So, That's my team."  I think the Gronk should be a role model to all when you're a beast on the field and your party habits are as legendary as Gronk's and notorious for having all the ladies you should be worshipped! Gronk Rules Yet AGAIN!!

RG3 just signed a 4 year deal with the Redskins worth just over 21 million dollars! Adidas rolled out their latest commercial which stars the Redskins rookie.  RG3 might make me start liking the Skins again somewhat.

Dez Bryant Arrested for Shoving his MOTHER????

Another young athlete, another arrest.  File this under: And Another One!  According to CBS Sports Dez Bryant who has had his share of legal troubles since joining the NFL was reportedly arrested for shoving his mother during an argument with his half-brother.  Not a good sign for a young athlete trying to rid himself of the negative press he's received because he can't seem to stay out of trouble.  You know when Deion Sanders decides he can't mentor you, that's a sign.  Hope he learns soon that NFL stands for Not For Long!
