LOL Video: Leandro Barbosa Crosses Andres Nocioni

The theme of this year's Olympic Men's Basketball has been "if you guard me 1 on 1, you will get crossed"...for the third time in the last week, an NBA player has been crossed up badly.  This time the victim was the ex NBA Forward Andres Nocioni getting shook by Indiana Paces and starting Point Guard for Brazil's national team Leandro Barbosa.  I think Nocioni made Deron Williams and James Harden look good...maybe that's why he's now out of the league.  Sheesh....

 

Liberian Jangy Addy Making Move Up Decathlon Leaderboard

Jangy Addy, the last hope for Liberia's chances to medal at this year's Olympics is moving up the leaderboard in the decathlon.  Addy won Heat 1 of the Men's 400M with a time of 48.64 seconds, and in the High Jump he placed 10th in Group B with a mark of 6'4".  Earlier today in the Discus Throw Addy came in 4th in Group A with a 149' 7 3/4" mark and placed 5th in Heat 4 of the 110M Hurdles.  Right now Addy's overall score has him in 12th place with the Pole Vault, Javelin, and 1500M left.  For highlights of Addy winning his 400M Heat, visit... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNeg-XY3NfU&feature=player_embedded#! #AddyForGold! #TeamLIB  

VIDEO: Liberia's Jangy Addy In Thick Of Things In Olympic Men's Decathlon

Liberian track star Jangy Addy has emerged as one of the top athletes in contention for Decathlon Gold!  He came in number one in the Men's100M in Heat 2 after posting a time of 10.89.  In the Shot Put he posted a mark of 49' 1 3/8", good enough for first in Group B.  In the Long Jump portion, he didn't fair as well, finishing twelfth with a high mark of 22' 7 3/4" in Group B.  The High Jump & 400M are the events left on his plate for the day.  Let's cheer Jangy on as he's the last hope for my home country's chances at winning a gold medal in this year's Olympics. Phobay Kutu-Akoi (Women's 100M), Raasin McIntosh (Women's 400M Hurdles), and Liva Saryee (Men's Judo) failed to medal at this year's Olympics but kudos to them for representing Liberia!  The Olympics couldn't go by without me giving my fellow countrymen some love....duh! #AddyForGold!!  Click on this link and go to the 6:00 mark in the video before the 2nd Heat in order to see Jangy represent LIB.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5L2eC2Sofhk&feature=player_embedded

Jeah!! Gillette Gives Ryan Lochte Gold Plated Razor

Jeah!!

When you're amongst the top swimmers in the world, endorsements find you.  Here's USA 400 M Swim Champ Ryan Lochte with a gift from one of his sponsors, Gillette gifting him with a custom gold plated set of razors for his performance at this year's Olympics.  Lochte tweeted "U gotta hand it to @Gillette for getting me my own personally gold plated and diamond encrusted razor. #jeah!"  He has eleven Olympic medals throughout his career and is now tied for 2nd all time behind only Michael Phelps in Men's Olympic swinning.  This should go well with his grill.  Mad props to Lochte.

Not Again! Deron Williams Gets Crossed By Argentine PG & Teammates Laugh

That was nasty...I'm trying not to laugh tho!

Last week it was James Harden who got crossed real nasty by Tony Skinn of Nigeria.  Harden tweeted to J.R. Smith saying "combination of floor and shoes. He didn't cross me tho lol".  Well now here's Deron Williams doing the splits in the same spot after getting rocked by an Argentinian player during last night's game in which the U.S. won 126-97.  Watch the video of Lebron and KD laughing at D. Will after the cross ....

Drogba Being Drogba...Scores 1st 2 Goals For Shanghai Shenhua

Didier Drogba is a superstar, and when he came to Shanghai last month, he was treated as such with fans chanting his name at the airport.  2 weeks after his debut wit Shanghai Shenhua where he plays with his former Chelsea team mate Nicolas Anelka, Drogba did what he does best by getting by defenders and scoring a couple of goals to get the Shanghai fans excited.  Gonna miss Drogs in the Premier League, at least he's still wearing Blue tho.  #GoBlues

MLS Player Ejected After He Head Butts Opponent

Nelson Rivas of the Montreal Impact headbutted Philadelphia Union's Antoine Hoppenot during their game this past weekend after Rivas felt Hoppenot slammed him to the ground when they got tangled up.  Rivas and Union player Jack Mclnerney were both given red cards.  The acting job from Hoppenot definitely deserves the credit because that hit didn't look too vicious.  Compare it with Zidane's headbutt in the World Cup Final in 2006....
