3 Men Arrested For Montee Ball Beatdown

A few weeks ago University of Wisconsin running back Montee Ball was jumped on his campus by what was rumored to be 5 men.  Well according to reports via TMZ 3 men have been arrested in connection with the fight.  One of the men arrested had told authorities that days before the beating of Ball, there had been a fight at a house party and that Ball was one of the people who beat him up leaving him badly injured, but he denied he planned any retaliation on Ball. Let's hope this ends soon and doesn't get even uglier for Ball.

Eew!! Video Of Wayne Rooney's Nasty Leg Injury

Owweee! Where's the medic!?!?

By now everyone who is a soccer fan has heard of Manchester United superstar Wayne Rooney's nasty leg injury which will keep him out for at least a month. The gash is much more than a gash, it's a nasty wound, and you can tell from the reaction of Rooney's teammate Danny Welbeck at the 0:19 second mark that it ain't something you want to experience.

Ouch....Rooney tweeted the below pic with this message to his fans 'Thanks for all the messages of support. Gutted to be out for a while but my leg will be ok which is the main thing". Glad to know he'll be ok, good thing they signed RVP.

Pablo Daniel Osvaldo is a striker for the Italiana League's Serie A squad AS Roma. Osvaldo in the video below received a great pass from teammate Daniele De Rossi and the rest is just poetry in motion.  This has to be an early candidate for goal of the year for the 2012/2013 season.  

Paul George Has 2 Sick Dunks In China As LeBron Watches

The Indiana Pacers had a very good season last year.  They took the eventual NBA Champs to 6 games in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals.  A big part of that was the rise of 2nd year small forward Paul George.   George also participated in the last season's Slam Dunk competition and even though he pulled off this sick glow in the dark dunk he got robbed by the judges and lost to Jeremy Evans.  Here's Paul at the Nike Festival Of Sport event in China showing us his bunnies.  After his 2nd dunk which was a dunk I'd never seen pulled off before, LeBron tweeted "The homie @King24George got crazy bounce. Just saw him reverse 360 b/t the legs windmill at the Nike FOS in Shanghai. No warmup #sick"......Sick indeed.

Roger Goodell Banned From Miami Restaurant Owned By Jonahtan Vilma

All I wanted was some cornbread and ribtips

Roger Goodell, the NFL's commissioner who came down hard on the Saints in lieu of 'Bounty Gate' cannot escape the growing trend of players trashing him.  According to a report, signs outside of Brother Jimmy's BBQ in Miami has been posted with Goodell's face on it and reads "DO NOT SERVE THIS MAN". The restaurant is owned by several NFL players, D.J. Williams of the Broncos, John Beason of the Panthers and Jonathan Vilma of the Saints, all of whom are former University of Miami football players.  Vilma has been suspended by Goodell for the entire upcoming NFL season for his role in 'Bounty Gate'.  Vilma's doing all he can to get at Goodell, don't blame him one bit.

Ryan Lochte Races Prince Harry At 3am In Vegas Pool

Ryan Lochte has been winning at everything since the Olympics....from getting gold plated razors to possibly becoming the next 'Bachelor' on ABC's hit TV show, and now late night pool races against Prince Harry. According to reports, Lochte and Prince Harry were in the pool at 3am at the Wynn Hotel's XS Nightclub pool and proceeded to race in front of a crowd of about 5,000 people....can you guess who won?  Locte's legacy is slowly growing.  To see the video of the race, click here.  Peep other photos of Lochte and his Vegas adventures below......

When you're referred to as 'Money', it's only right that you have some of it, and Floyd Mayweather is the cash king when it comes to flaunting his money.  I mean the guy got picked up by 50 Cent in a blue Bentley upon his release from prison just last month.  And he was the Forbes' top earning athlete over the course of the last year after raking in $85 million dollars...not bad for a convict.  Here's a video of 'Money' counting 1 million racks.  FML!!

LeBron Gets Booed As His Foundation Is Honored In Akron

LeBron James, or King James as he calls himself is no stranger to being booed on the court....off the court in his hometown of Akron it's not much different because the people still love to hate on him since he made "The Decision".  LeBron was in Akron a few days ago for the first anniversary of his Wheels For Education foundation.  As he was being honored at the Akron Aeros stadium, he was greeted to a chorus of boos. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is a hell of a talent.  He also has a hell of a lot of issues off the field.  But once he's locked in, he could become one of the top 5 receivers in the league.  Here's Dez making a sick one handed catch against the San Diego Chargers in a preseason match.  His heel barely touched the the end line and he was ruled out of bounds.  Still a great catch...much rather see him making headlines for the right reasons this time.  Giants fan all day but I hope Dez keeps his mind right this year.

Sick Video: Portland Trailblazers Rookie Will Barton Goes Off In Pro Am Game With 72 Points

Will Barton is a Baltimore native and now rookie of the Portland Trailblazers.  He was a very good player in high school and in college.  Good enough to score 72 points tho....NO.  However, if you're playing in a summer league type atmosphere anything can happen.  Will put on a display a couple of days ago in Baltimore, Maryland for an Under Armor Pro-Am game.  I know the stats don't count, but still he has sick moves, if only he can be a quarter as good in the league, then the Blazers are on to something.

Michael Jordan Believes Dream Team Is Smarter Than Current Team USA

Michael Jordan has voiced his opinion again on the Dream Team vs. 2012 Team USA debate, according to a USA Today article MJ was quoted as saying "Kobe thought we were a little old, but only two players were over 30....One thing 2012 lacked was size".  He goes on to say "We were much more solid defensively...they only had one shot blocker."  He summed up his view on the debate with "debates won't end because we will never know...the only way it'll end is if we lace them up in 2012, and I don't think that will happen."  It's MJ, greatest athlete in the history of sports, don't care to argue, he's the GOAT.  Watch this great video of the Dream Team in Barcelona 1992.

Video: Miami Dolphins Coach Telling Chad Johnson He's Been Cut From The Team On HBO Hard Knocks

Damn! I f*cked up huh!??

Well it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson is having the worst week ever.  First he allegedly headbutted his wife Evelyn Lozada after she saw a receipt for condoms in his car, he was then arrested, 2 days later got cut by the Miami Dolphins, then his wife filed for divorce from him, then to top it off HBO's Hard Knocks which features the Miami Dolphins this year, aired the footage of Chad getting cut from the team.  He's a Miami boy so I know to have it all seemingly end this way got to be the worst.  I personally like Chad, but this is what happens when you put too much of yourself out there, you have to deal with the consequences.  I hope he gets another shot in the NFL.  Check the video of Dolphins' coach Joe Philbin informing Chad of his release.

In the NOT SO BREAKING NEWS department, Dwight Howard has reportedly been sent to the L.A. Lakers in a 4 team deal that will send Howard, Earl Clark and Chris Duhon to the Lakers, wtih the Nuggets getting Andre Iguodala, the 76ers receiving Jason Richardson and Andrew Bynum, and the Magic receiving Nikola Vucivie, Arron Afflalo and a protected future first-round pick from each team.  Dwight is still rumored to not be willing to sign an extension in order to test the free agent market next year.  This makes the Lakers the automatic favourite to win the championship over the Heat.  Mitch Kupchak is the man, that's really what all this means.  For a guy who doesn't want to be in Shaq's shadow his entire career it's sure panning out that way.  Games at the Amway in Orlando will never be the same, it will be hard for me to cheer on Dwight as a Laker but he is the best center in the world currently.  Peep sick highlights of Dwight throwing down on everybody:
